📋 Introduction

Welcome to StudyDock, a productivity and study-management application developed by PrimePoint Solution. We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains in full detail what data our app handles, where it is stored, and how it is — or is not — used.

By using StudyDock, you agree to the practices described in this document. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.

📴 Fully Offline Operation

StudyDock is designed to work 100% offline. The application never initiates any network request during normal operation. There is no login, no account creation, and no server to connect to.

No internet permission is required to run the app.
All features are fully accessible without a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
The app will never prompt you for network access.
No background sync, telemetry, or analytics pings are made at any time.

🚫 No Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external systems. This means:

No name, email, or contact information is ever requested or stored remotely.
No usage analytics or crash reports are sent to any third party.
No advertising networks or tracking SDKs are integrated into the app.
No device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, etc.) are collected.
No location data, camera, or microphone access is used.

💾 Local Storage Only

All app data is stored exclusively on your device using Shared Preferences — a secure, sandboxed key-value store provided by the operating system. This data is isolated to the app and cannot be accessed by other apps without root-level access to your device.

Study sessions and timers are saved locally.
Goals and progress tracking data remain on-device.
Your chosen user name is stored only in Shared Preferences.
Theme and display preferences are persisted locally.
Data is cleared automatically when you uninstall the app.

🔗 Third-Party Services

StudyDock does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or cloud services. There are no Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, or any other external libraries that transmit data off-device.

The only external dependency is the Flutter framework itself (by Google), which is used solely for UI rendering and contains no data-collection behaviour in our build.

🛡️ App Permissions

StudyDock requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function. Below is a complete list:

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — To reschedule local notifications after a device restart.
VIBRATE — To provide haptic feedback for timer alerts (optional).
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — To display local study reminders on Android 13+.

No permission related to the internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts, or storage of media files is requested.

👶 Children's Privacy

StudyDock is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. Because we collect no personal information whatsoever and operate entirely offline, the application is fully compliant with children's privacy laws including COPPA (USA) and GDPR-K (EU). Parents and guardians can allow children to use this app without concern.

🔐 Data Security

Since all data lives locally on your device, the security of your study data is as strong as the security of your device itself. We recommend:

Using a screen lock (PIN, password, or biometric) on your device.
Keeping your operating system and the app updated.
Avoiding use on rooted / jailbroken devices where app sandboxing may be compromised.

⚖️ Your Rights

Because we store no personal data on any external server, concepts such as "right to erasure" or "data portability" are inherently satisfied — your data never leaves your device. You can delete all app data at any time by:

Going to Settings → Apps → StudyDock → Clear Data on Android.
Uninstalling the application (all Shared Preferences are removed automatically).
Using the in-app reset option (if available in your version).

🔄 Changes to This Policy

PrimePoint Solution reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made, the updated policy will be published on the app store listing and/or within the app. Continued use of StudyDock after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We will never introduce data collection, advertising, or analytics without prominently notifying users and updating this document.
